The 80th Independence Day was celebrated at the Sports Complex of Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Hatamuniguda, in an atmosphere filled with patriotism and spirited enthusiasm.
Lieutenant Arnav Singh Patiyal, Headquarters Eastern Naval Command, Visakhapatnam, hoisted the National Flag, and addressed the gathering. He urged the youths to take up meaningful responsibilities, address the pressing challenges confronting, and contribute meaningfully towards building a stronger and prosperous India. An impressive march-past, marked by vibrant energy, perfect coordination and discipline, won the admiration of all. The eloquent addresses delivered by a student and other speakers echoed a strong sense of patriotism, leaving an indelible impression on everyone present.
The celebration was further enriched by an impressive Yoga Display and a spectacular Pyramid Show presented by the students, creatively portraying a range of patriotic themes. The programme concluded on a stirring note with the soulful rendition of the national song “Vande Mataram.”
