Freshers' Welcome ( नवीन बरन' )- a unique and inspiring programme, to impress upon the young minds the importance of beginning their life journey with devotion, discipline and a deep connection to our cultural roots was conducted on Sunday, 28th June 2026, to welcome the new students in the traditional Gurukul system at Brahmananda Dham Prayer Hall.
The ceremony began with Special Worship of Bhagawan Sri Ramakrishna to invoke the blessings of the Holy Trio for the freshers, followed by Vidyarthi Vrata Homa, where 103 new students took the vows by reciting Vidyarthi Vrata mantra and offering Vilva leaves in the sacred fire.
The old students welcomed the new students with sandal paste, bouquet and locket. The new students introduced themselves.
All were served with Prasad after the programme.
