The Vocational Training Centre started its journey on 03 September 2018 in collaboration with Tata Projects Community Development Trust (TPCDT). However, it had to be stopped for inevitable circumstances. In its place another programme of residential vocational training for girls was started in collaboration with J K Trust Bombay from August 2023. The poor and backward girls of various rural areas of different districts are being trained in sewing machine operators (apparel sector) in it. After being trained, these girls are placed in this profession of garment making with Silver Spark, Bengaluru which help them to earn their livelihood. During the year 2023-24, 102 girls have completed the training and 84 have received employment.
Besides, the existing training in Computer Basics is continuing with 98 trainees. Earlier, 71 had completed this training in it.
