5th International Yoga Day
Students, Teachers, Monastic members and other staff members of Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama School (School Code: 53082) Hatamuniguda celebrated 5th international yoga day at 6.00 a.m. on 21st June in the School campus. Srimat Swami Deveshanandaji Maharaj, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama Kothar, Odisha, Chief Guest of the function spoke on importance of yoga in our life. Shri R.N. Banerjee, Principal welcomed the guests and others present. The students displayed surya Namaskar and various asanas. Shri Mukesh Kumar Mandal conducted the programme. The programme ended with a vote of thanks proposed by Swami Pravhuvarananda. All the participants were served with light refreshment.
On this occasion a sit and draw competition among the students of standard V to IX was held in the afternoon.
